Using the Elmer Holmes Bobst Library
Welcome! This research guide is bit of a work-in-progress, so please contact me anytime with your questions, comments, and suggestions. For those of you who are new to NYU, here is a bit of information about the NYU Libraries:
Our main library is Bobst (pronounced with a long "o"), located at 70 Washington Square South, just a couple blocks past the west boundary of the East Village. The building is open 24 hours per day all year and you can also access resources remotely via the NYU Libraries website.
You can communicate with the library in numerous ways, including our Ask-a-Librarian service (email, text, IM) and via Facebook and Twitter:
Have fun in the East Village!

This map of the East Village was designed at http://www.nyc.gov/citymap. The gray lines are boundaries between census tracts, while the colored lines designate bike lanes. You can create your own map and select which boundaries and points of interest to display, then download as an image file or PDF.
