The Fales Library and Special Collections
A prime collection of the Fales Library focuses on English literature from the middle of the 18th century to present, effectively documenting the evolution of the novel. Another strength is the Downtown Collection, which documents downtown New York art, performance, and literary scenes from 1975 to the present.
Thousands of libraries, museums, and archives have contributed nearly a million collection descriptions to ArchiveGrid. Researchers searching ArchiveGrid can learn about the many items in each of these collections, contact archives to arrange a visit to examine materials, and order copies.
