Health technology assessment (HTA) is a field of health services research that analyzes the effectiveness of technological interventions in improving health. In 2000, the US National Information Center on Health Services Research and Health Care Technology (NICHSR) collaborated with the Canadian Coordinating Office for Health Technology Assessment to produce an electronic book about how to find HTA resources.
